Obituary
Sara Lucille Bradbury, 95, of Davin, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Logan Center Nursing Home in Logan after a short illness.
She was born October 4, 1919, in Logan County, the daughter of the late Gratton and Melda Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund "Chum" Bradbury; one sister; three brothers; and one daughter.
Mrs. Bradbury was a practical nurse and retired from Man Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Survivors include one son, James E. (Bonnie) Bradbury of Davin; one daughter, Melda J. (Michael) Bradbury Rafferty of Lucasville, Ohio; one sister, Mary Brown Holbrook of Abington, Virginia; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Mallory Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Robertson and Pastor Michael York officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery at Cyclone.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home in Man and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Michael J. Rafferty, II, Matthew J. Rafferty, Michael James Bradbury, Chase Edmund Bradbury, John Greene, and Corey Greene.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mallory Baptist Church, P. O. Box 148, Mallory, WV 25634.
