Please share a memory of Elizabeth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elizabeth Lynn Linville, 75, of Amherstdale, WV, peacefully went home to Heaven on May 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on September 8, 1948, at Bruno, to the late Gloria (Donahue) Perry and the late Russell Fleming.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Gladys Donahue, and her sister, Mary Susan Caserta
A devoted Christian, Lynn was a faithful member of Becco United Baptist Church, where her deep spirituality and commitment to her faith were evident to all who knew her. Her involvement in the church was a source of great joy and fulfillment throughout her life.
Lynn had a profound love for nature and wildlife, finding immense pleasure in feeding the birds, raccoons, foxes, deer, and any other forest friends that made their way to her home. She enjoyed embracing the beauty of the natural world around her. She also cherished the beach and the warmth of the sun, drawing peace and happiness from the ocean. Her connection to nature was a testament to her nurturing and compassionate spirit.
Lynn was known for her generous and loving nature. She had a strong desire to give back to her community and was well known for sharing her homemade candy with everyone. Her acts of kindness and her warm, giving spirit touched the lives of many.
Lynn’s legacy of love, faith, and generosity will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness and gentle spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Jerry Linville, two daughters, Misty Collins (Brian Hatfield) and Kristy Curry (Jabo) of Amherstdale; and one son, Jerry Mitch (Brittany Elizabeth) of Vienna; eleven grandchildren: Jonathan Paul, Nicholas Edward, and Emily MaryBeth (Jake Adkins) Collins; Megan Elizabeth (Michael Taylor) and Hannah Rae Curry; Bronson Graham, Frances Margaret, Lola Mae, Killian Patrick, Eillie Rowan, and Marley Pepper; and one brother, Jon Warren Perry (Alice), two sisters, Joy Fleming Nicholson of Charleston SC and Kristie Kay Artrip of Barboursville, a brother-in-law Joel (Motey) Caserta of Robinette, ex son-in-law Paul Collins, and her beloved cat, Philomena; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
