Obituary of Tasha Marie Bartram Farmer

Tasha Marie Bartam Farmer, 43, of Henderson, NC, formerly of Greenville, WV, departed this life suddenly on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Marie Parham Hospital in Henderson, NC. She was born on May 5, 1980, in Man, the daughter of Clinton and Melissa Ann (Belcher) Bartram. Preceding her in death are maternal grandparents, Donald Gene and Mary Helen (Callaway) Belcher; paternal grandparents, Claude and Lorene (Workman) Bartram; her sister Tiffany Dawn Bartram; two cousins, Jennifer Leigh Sanders and Little Donnie Belcher whom she thought of as a brother. Tasha was fun-spirited, could talk to anyone, and never met a stranger. Her favorite thing to do was spend time at the lake, enjoying the calmness of the water. Family was important to her, so she always kept in touch by calling and having long conversations. A true kid at heart, she loved all different types of candy. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Survivors include her parents and a cherished aunt, Donna Sue Sanders, who was like a second mother to her. Also mourning her passing are her sister Tracy and her husband, Daniel Vannatter of Greenville. Tasha held a special bond with her niece, whom she affectionately referred to as “the baby,” Alissa, and her husband Anthony Payne of Bruno. Additionally, she leaves behind a beloved cousin, Mary Belcher, along with Mary’s children, Raeanne, Jazzy, and Dakota. Among her cherished loved ones are also her “North Carolina babies,” Leland Sanders, Gabrielle Sanders, and Emilio Martinez, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man, a brief Remembrance Ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Cecil Bartram officiating. In honor of Tasha’s wishes, her remains will be cremated following the services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
