Please share a memory of Shirley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Shirley Raye Shull, 86, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 12, 2024, after a long illness.
She was born on August 16, 1937, at Greenville, the daughter of the late Ray and Edna (Ellis) Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edgar Shull; and her siblings, Barbara Anderson, Danny Joe Anderson, Helen Bailey, Judy Schneider, Edna Maye Blankenship, Vernon Glenn Anderson, Charles Ray Anderson, and Patty Olson.
Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse employed with Man Community Health Foundation for many years.
She was a devoted Christian who was a member of the Hunt Freewill Tabernacle for most of her life. In her later years, she became a faithful member of the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church until her health declined.
Shirley was an avid bowler who enjoyed league bowling where her league won many awards. She and her sister Bobbi walked together for exercise when weather permitted. Before her illness, she loved to eat anything and everything and never gained a pound. Shirley will be deeply missed by all who love her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Barbara (Nicholas) Adams of Garner, NC, Frank (Becky) Shull of Accoville, Michael (Tammy Lynn) Shull of Panama City, FL; sisters, Bobbi Jean Anderson of Greenville and Kathy (Rocky) Morgan of Elk Creek; one brother, Norman Anderson of Brighton, TN; eight grandchildren, Leah Black, Harold Adams, Debbie Howell, Jonathan Shull, Jennifer Vance, Geoff Shull, Zach Shull, Zane Shull, Andrew Fraley and Christian Stafford; 10 great-grandchildren, Amber Breden, Rebecca Myers, Christopher Black, Victoria Black, Michael Adams, Brooklynn Shull, Bentley Shull, Brayleigh Shull, Nyla Vance, Nox Vance, Lily Fraley, Jordan Howell, and Damien Howell; six great-great-grandchildren, Scarlett Breden, Preston Breden, Wyatt Black, Edward Myers, James Adams, and Layla Adams; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
