Obituary of Doug Brown

Frank Douglas Brown, 60, of Davin, departed this life on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
He was born on August 6, 1963, at Logan, the son of the late Frank Brown and the late Maxine (Frye) Brown McCane.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Denice Griffin.
Doug loved his family. He enjoyed fishing, building houses, and carpentry. Doug was an avid fan of history. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory are one son, Ryan Douglas of Putnam County; three sisters, Donna “Hickey” Murphy with whom he made his home, Nora Yvonne Blankenship of Man, and Debra Carol Davis of Daytona Beach Shores, FL; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon Thursday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Ollie Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery at Branchland.
