Mom was telling me not to take her picture here. Luckily with our phones she didn’t know I had taken this one until I showed it to her later. She told me to delete it but I didn’t. It makes me laugh every time I see it.

Mom made a new friend during our trip to Gatlinburg in 2017. She even agreed to pose for a picture with him, which surprised me, since she hated getting her picture taken. She loved Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Dollywood. My next trip there will not be the same knowing she’s not there enjoying it beside me.

My precious grandma, my best friend..
I have so many great memories with you in these 31 years. One of my favorites being the first time I ever went to Pigeon Forge with you and grandpa. We walked all over that place and explored every "As Seen On TV" store they had to offer. You will be missed so much by all of us. I love you so much, forever and always. This is not goodbye, just I'll see you later.
