Tara Linda Brumfield
of Bruno, WV
Tara Linda Brumfield, 28, of Bruno, departed this life on Friday, January 26, 2024, at WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.
She was born on September 26, 1995, at Logan, the daughter of the late Joseph Edward “Joey” and LaDonna Gail (Asprey) Brumfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe Brumfield, David and Margie Browning, and Linda Stevens; four aunts, Michelle Asprey, Regina Fielder, Delilah Brumfield Lusk, and Sheryl Rogers; and her cousin, Kyra Jarrett.
Tara loved kids especially her nephew, Timothy Joe Nichols and her many nieces. She enjoyed popsicles and Ginger Ale. Tara loved to make people laugh and always had a smile on her face. One of her favorite things to do was to scare Uncle Jamie Dale Browning. She also loved music.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sisters, her little big sister Kristina Brumfield Robinson of VA and Starlena Salter of Mallory; one brother, Joe Matthew Lee Brumfield of FL; Uncles, Jamie Browning of Hendersonville, TN, Matthew Stevens of Charleston, and Calvin Brumfield of Davin; Aunts, Amy Gray of VA, Temple Rinker of Huddleston, VA, and Beverly Brumfield; and many other Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-11 p.m. Friday at the Davin Baptist Church at Davin.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Davin Baptist Church with Brother Jamie Browningofficiating.
In honor of Tara’s wishes her remains will be cremated following the services.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
