Obituary of Steven Michael Ritz

Steven Michael Ritz, 36, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from CAMC-General Division after unexpected medical complications.
He was born on February 13, 1987, at St. Charles, IL, the son of Donna Kay (Hatfield) Napier of Man and two wonderful stepdads, Bobby Napier of Man and Kenny Milton of Accoville.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Hatfield; his father-in-law, Leon “Pops” White; and his brother-in-law Eddie White.
Steven managed rental property. He loved spending time with his children and enjoyed fishing. Steven had a wonderful sense of humor and had the ability to make you laugh. He could light up a room with his jokes and pranks. Steven will be missed by all who loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life for 8 years his wife, Bessie Mae (White) Ritz; four children, Ryker, Izabella, Kadence, and Brayden all at home; his mother, Donna Kay (Hatfield) Napier of Man; two wonderful stepdads, Bobby Napier of Man and Kenny Milton of Accoville; his grandmother, Brenda Hatfield of Man; sister, Tabatha and Jimmy Hagy of Man; his sister-in-law, Christina and Adam Porter of Chapmanville; two special aunts, Debbie (Danny) Faine and Diana (John) Fenner all of Man; a few special cousins Daniel (Kristen) Mclver, Brittany (Shawn) Bailey, Stephanie (Jared) Hensley, and Jessica ( Brandon) Walls along with their kids; three nephews, Kolton, Jakob, and Asher; one niece, Brooke; and a special friend, Rick Toler of Man along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
Funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Frye officiating.
In honor of Steven’s wishes his remains will be cremated.
