Obituary of Ann Marie Fernandez
Please share a memory of Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ann Marie Fernandez, 46, of Bruno, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on January 28, 1977, the daughter of Roberta Fernandez of Gilman Bottom and the late Ricky Fernandez.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Bert and Gevina Reed and her Paternal Grandparents, Barbara Porter Fernandez and Jessie Fernandez.
Ann was a retired CNA formerly employed with Trinity Nursing Home. She was the most kind and sweet hearted person. Ann was loud and was the life of the party. She never met a stranger. If she didn’t like you she didn’t care to tell you but if you became her friend you had a friend for life. Ann loved her family, loved to travel to see the world and ocean. She was the most proud of being an Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She was survived by two sisters, Vickie and Gary Jude of Delbarton and Kimberly and George Ellis of Bruno; Ann’s fiancé, James Thompson of Bruno; nieces and nephews, Tiffany and T.J. Hoosier of Chapmanville, Alyssa Ellis of Bruno, Jordon Ellis of Bruno, Crystal and Bill Maxwell and Derrick and Brittany Jude, all of Oakland City, IN; she was soon to be the great-aunt to baby boy Karson Hoosier expected to arrive in January who she was looking forward to meeting with great excitement; her two fur babies, Buddy and Zoey; four special aunts, Bobby, Donna, Lydia, and Patricia; Special uncles, Berlin Reed, Ralph Reed and the late Charles Reed; her best friends, Lisa Wisecup, Heather Whitt, Misty Williamson and many others, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
