Obituary of Noah Lee Lombardo

Noah Lee Lombardo, 71, of Man, went home to be with the Lord on December 08, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 12, 1952, in Logan. He was the son of the late Antonio "Tony" and Thelma Roy Lombardo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Lombardo, Jimmy Lombardo, and Ricky Horn; and two sisters, Rosemary Breckenridge and Judy Lombardo. Noah was in the United States Army, where he held the title of Green Baret. He proudly served in the Vietnam War. He was a true patriot and a man of God in every sense of the word. Noah preached the word of God for over 40 years in many different areas of West Virginia. He was an evangelist who poured his heart into the gospel and developed many lifelong church family friends. Noah dedicated 45 years in Law enforcement. He started out in Logan as a city police officer, then moved to the town of Man as a city police officer, eventually being promoted to chief of police. His love of law enforcement led him to become a Ranger for the Hatfield McCoy Trails. He also served as a volunteer Firefighter. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed being out in the mountains, scouting for places to hunt. Noah loved spending quality time with his family, creating lasting memories, and sharing a lot of laughs throughout the years. He will be greatly remembered for a life of service to his country, town, and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 48 years, Martha Lombardo of Man; one daughter, Sherry and her husband Ronnie Schultz, of Clothier; one son, Noah Lombardo Jr., of Man; Three special nephews, Chester Horn and George Kemp, both of logan, and Brandon Kemp; two brothers, Tony Lombardo, of Logan, Joe Lombardo, of Corning, Az.; a special sister in law who was more like a sister, Sue Kemp; Three grandchildren who were the light of his life, Amanda Stanley, of Chapmanville, Joshua Schultz, and Tennessee Schultz, both of Clothier; two great-grandchildren, Leroy and Amara Wellman, both of Chapmanville; three nieces, Goldie, Causby, and Dollie; a special great-niece, Krysta; several very special friends, Rob Nester, Terry “Spanky” Brumfield, David Gibson, Jane and Gene Elkins and family, Carolyn and Richard Elkins and family, Bethany “my little peep” Gore, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, 13, 2023, at the Krantz – McNeely Funeral Home at Man. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, 13, 2023, at the Krantz – McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. David Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
