Margaret Camie Copley
Of Davin, WV
Margaret Cammie Copley, 85, of Davin, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, August 14, 2023, leaving peacefully from her earthly home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 3, 1938, at Crawley Creek, the daughter of the late Leslie and Shawnee Cora (Fillinger) Belcher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years Wallace Copley; two infant daughters, Pamela Copley and Debra Copley; and her brother, Carl Belcher.
Margaret worked as a cook in the restaurant industry for over 35 years. She was also an Avon representative for many years in the Gilman Bottom and Cyclone areas.
A dedicated home maker, Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. While raising their family, she and Wallace grew a garden and raised their own cows, pigs, and chickens. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and growing her flowers. Margaret’s favorite times were those spent with her family and going to church with her children.
Those left to cherish her memory are four children, Wallace Delane Copley and his wife, Gena and Gary Copley and his wife Brandi, all of Davin; Larry Copley and his wife Marsha and Lisa Workman and her husband Mike, all of Cyclone; seven grandchildren, Branndi Grimmett and her husband Nick of Landville, Ariel Copley of Davin, Tyler Copley and his wife Morgan of Oceana, Trevor Copley and Tiffany Copley and her boyfriend, Christian Morgan, all of Cyclone, Kendra Frye and her husband Cody, and Lindsay Workman and her boyfriend Gary Miller, all of Cyclone; three great-grandsons, Parker Grimmett, Tucker Frye, and Tatum Frye; one great-granddaughter due in September; two brothers, Charles Belcher and his wife Cookie of Gilman Bottom and Dell Belcher and his wife Lynn Belcher of Greenville, SC; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
