Obituary of Katrina Dawn Whitt Mullins

Katrina Dawn “Tina” Whitt Mullins, 50, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, leaving suddenly from her earthly home. She was born on January 12, 1973, at Man, the daughter of Donna Sue (Reed) Whitt Blankenship and the late Randall Scott Whitt. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dwayne Mullins; her maternal grandparents, Bert and Geneva (Justice) Reed; her paternal grandparents, Frank and Texie (Brown) Whitt; her niece; Destiny LeAanne Johnson; and a special friend, Jackie Vance. Tina was a 1991 graduate of Man High School. She worked in nursing in and around Logan County. Tina had a big heart and often helped elderly people. She enjoyed watching General Hospital, going to the beach, and traveling. Tina was always getting the family together for dinners and visiting. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Megan Nichole Mullins and her fiancé Ronnie McGarvey of Lundale; her mother and step-father, Rev. Clarence and Donna Sue (Reed) Blankenship of Jonesville, NC; one sister, Heather Lea Whitt and her fiancé Clifford Daniel Adkins of Man; one brother, Randall Scott Whitt II of Man; two step-sisters, Glenna Sue Blankenship and Rhonda Renee Blankenship Morgan of N.C., a very special niece, Kendall Shay Lesher; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
