Jeannie Ann Mitchell, 54, of Greenvalley, departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on March 18, 1969, in Bluefield, the daughter of the late Freddy Mitchell and Diane Jean (Dotson) Ellison.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one niece, Kara Mitchell and the father of her daughter, Mike Cresong.
Jeannie loved spending time with her grandsons, Noah and Deegan. She enjoyed planting flowers and caring for her cats, Sissy and Bubby.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Kayla (Cody) Badgett of Verdunville; two grandsons, Noah Badgett and Deegan Badgett, both of Verdunville; 7 siblings, Freddy Joe (Jeanie) Mitchell, Dallas (Trissa) Hatfield, Adam Hatfield, Rodney (Ashley) Mitchell, Orville Mitchell, Mickey (Ashley) Mitchell, and Stephanie (Howard) Sammons; a special sister-in-law, Glenna Gibson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a service will begin at 3:30 p.m.
