Michael Lee Bailey
of Accoville, WV
Michael Lee Bailey, 65, of Accoville, departed this life on May 10th, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 5th, 1958, at Accoville, the son of the late Chester and Opal (Booth) Bailey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Sandra Jean Bailey; three sisters, Marie Bailey, Delores Workman, and Diana Gibson; and one brother, Donald Bailey.
Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a member of the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church for over 40 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael (Ashton) Bailey of Accoville; one daughter, Paula (Scott) Webb of Neibert; five grandchildren, Tanner (Megan) Bailey, Cameron (Sara) Bailey, Barry (Victoria) Webb, Charleigh Conley, Scottlyn Webb; four great-grandchildren, Cami Bailey, Maci Fields, Maddison Fields, Wrenley Webb; three brothers, Gordon Bailey of Bruno, Chester (Carmella) Bailey of Accoville, and Charles (Doralene) Bailey of Bruno; one sister, MaryLou (Russell) Nelson of Accoville; special daughter, Stephanie (Jimmy) Goble of Bruno and special grandchildren, Micah, Chandler, and Paxton Goble of Bruno, and Paige Napier of Greenville; special friends, Dallas (Teresa) Grimmett of Bruno, George (Terri) Plumley of Accoville, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Cantrell and Rev. Jackie Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Michael will be carried to his final resting place by his family.
