Diania Mae (Adams) Poston, 71, of San Antonio TX, left this world on Friday, October 27, 2022, after a long illness.
She was born on February 9, 1951, at Harts Creek, the daughter of the late Enoch and Elizabeth (Carter) Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Poston; one sister Racine Spence and one brother Eddie Adams.
She was a retired Teacher for the San Antonio school district. She proudly served in the United States Air Force. She enjoyed reading and loved spending quality time with her family who she cherished. As an advocate of Education and learning she always was willing to passionately support and help friends and family to improve their lives.
Diania was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Angela (Kerry) Poston-Wells of Pittsburgh PA, Kimberly Armstrong of San Antonio TX; three grand children, Zecheriah Armstrong, Sarah Armstrong, and Katie Wells; four sisters, Jean Thompson, Pattsy (Hector) Adams-Santana, Pansy Brown, and Linda McCloud; three brothers, Nicholas Adams, Orville Adams, and Linol Adams; numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A Grave side service in celebration of Diania’ s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday December 9, 2022 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery at Godby,WV.
