Obituary of Dorothy "Dotty" Doczi

Dorothy “Dotty” Doczi, 81, of Lorado, WV, formerly of Madison, NJ, departed this life on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at home, after an extended illness.
She was born on February 4, 1941, and was raised in East Orange, NJ, the daughter of the late Florence Meyers and Albert Richards.
Dotty started work at 16 years old for Prudential as a supply clerk for 9 years. Dotty then worked as a stable manager for her own boarding stable for 30 years. She was then employed with Automatic Switch for 11 years, from where she retired. Dotty was also an Avon representative for 50 years.
Dotty retired and moved to Lorado with her husband, George, in 2006. She joined St. Edmonds Catholic Church in Man, the S.T.A.R.T. Club, Garden Club, and Friends of Buffalo Creek Library.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 47 years, George; her two sons, Christopher and Jason; her sister Arlene Evans; two nephews, Tom and Jim Evans, three grandnephews and one grandniece, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Krantz-McNeely Funeral home at Man, with Father Biju Officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home.
In Honor of Dotty’s wishes, her remains will be cremated following the services.
