Sherri Lea Brown
of Gilman Bottom, WV
Sherri Lea Brown, 58, of Gilman Bottom, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 28, 2022, leaving from her earthly home, after a short illness.
She was born on October 21, 1963, at Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Norman Edward, Sr. and Edna Mae (Dials) Booth.
Sherri was a 1981 graduate of Man High School. She was formerly employed with the Prescription Center at Man for several years. Sherri was employed at Logan Regional Medical Center as a billing clerk specialist for 18 years before she became medically disabled.
She was a Christian and a member of the Man Church of the Nazarene where she was the acting church secretary and was a member of the Ladies Aide. She was also a member of the Lion’s Club at Man.
Sherri loved to travel, go to ball games to watch her grandchildren play, and cook for her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, Russell Brown; two children, Jessica (Terry) Peck of Clendenin and Kyle (Tara) Brown of Whitman; four grandchildren, Jayden Brown, Jace Brown, Elizabeth Peck, and Trent Brown; two sisters, Robin Cook and her fiancé Todd Greene of Man and Susan (Tim) Klontz of Bucyrus, OH; two brothers, Norman Jr. (Mary Ann) Booth of Cyclone and David (Cathy) Booth of Accoville; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday evening at the Man Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the Man Church of the Nazarene with Pastor John Anderson and Rev. Michael Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
