Jeffrey Shane Wynne
of Green Valley, WV
Jeffrey Shane Wynne, 63, of Green Valley, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at CAMC-General Division, of injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
He was born on November 10, 1951, at Princeton, the son of the late John Fredrick and Ruby Mae Sheperd Wynne.
Jeff graduated from Nicholas County High School. He graduated from Glenville State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Later, Mr. Wynne attended WV State University where he attained his certification in special education. He obtained his Master of Arts Degree from WV University and his Master of Science Degree from Marshall University. Mr. Wynne was a veteran of the Viet Nam War and a member of the VFW Post 15050. He was also a member of the WV Education Association. A well rounded man, Mr. Wynne was knowledgeable in many trades and was a beloved teacher at Man High School for 28 years where he was well loved by the students, faculty and staff.
Those left to cherish his memory are one son, Joshua Shane Wynne; one step-daughter, Renee Lawrence; one granddaughter, Tatiana Wynne; one brother, David Wynne; one sister, Carol (Ralph) Arthur; one niece, Kristian Hanson Wynne; and two nephews, Caleb Fredrick Wynne and Michael Arthur; his friend, Beverly Stump, her daughter, Michelle (Curt) Westrick, and her grandchildren, Macie, Trentin, and Zarik Westrick; and his good friends, Bill (Terri) Clark and Todd (Gina) Clark.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with various speakers giving eulogies.
In honor of Mr. Wynne's wishes his remains have been cremated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
