Geneva Ann Daniels
of Cyclone, WV
Geneva Ann Daniels, 75, of Cyclone, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, leaving from her earthly home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.
She was born on May 30, 1946, at Cyclone, the daughter of the late Arnold and Lora Lusk.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Brian Daniels; two brothers, Alfred Lusk and Kerry Dale “Dale Boy” Lusk; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stacy and Wavy Daniels.
Geneva was a 1966 graduate of Oceana High School and a 1995 graduate of Wyoming Career and Vocational Technical Center. She was the co-owner of Daniels Carryout Floral and Gifts at Cyclone. Geneva was the co-Founder and a Charter Member of the Lighthouse Community Church at Kopperston. She also attended the Bright Prospect Missionary Baptist Church and the Cyclone Church of God.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Willis Daniels; son, Ryan (Cindy) Daniels of Cyclone; daughter, Christa (Jose) Salcedo of High Point, NC; brothers, Leon (Susan) Lusk of Kopperston, Aubrey (Janet) Lusk of Kistler, and Richard (Regina) Lusk of Cyclone; sisters, Mavis “Sherlene” (Garry) Browning of Cool Ridge and Sherry (Kenny) Gibson of Elberton, GA; four grandchildren, Matthew Daniels, Sarah Daniels, Kaylee Newsome, and Joseph Newsome along with a host of loving family, friends, and church family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Southern WV; Liz Walls, Dena Spence, Mollie Austin, Amy Lanham, and Heather Heath.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Sunday evening at the Lighthouse Community Church, 4543 Kopperston Road, Kopperston, WV 24854, where a service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also visit one hour prior to services on Monday at the church also.
Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Lighthouse Community Church with Rev. Michael Kell, Rev. Emma White, Rev. Todd Keneda, and Rev. Richard Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.
