Delie Lueva Maynard, 66, of Lyburn, departed this life on Wednesday, April 27,2022, leaving from Davin , after a long illness.
She was born on June 9, 1955, at Logan, the Daughter of the late Buell ”Bill” Ellis and Tootsie (Adkins) Ellis-Maynard of Madison Creek.
Preceding her in death are Two sons; Michael Donovan Maynard and Lonnie Lee Maynard II, her step father John Russell Maynard Jr., step mother Roxie Maynard Ellis Colston, and one brother Buell Elliott Ellis Jr., along with a niece and nephew.
Delie enjoyed taking pictures, camping, sewing, and being in nature. She really loved spending quality time with all of her babies including her two fur babies Rascal and Buddy.
Those left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren; Paige Maynard, Christian Maynard, Michael Drake Maynard all of Davin, Jakob Winn of Lyburn, Taylor Nelson of Davin, Chris Adkins, John Adkins both of Lincoln Co., Alyssa Nelson, Payton Nelson both of Davin, Isaiah Burress of Stollings, and Jamie Lee Nelson of Davin; a great-granddaughter Nadia Davis Winn, and a great-grandson Jonathan Adkins. Three Brothers; Elliott (Audrey) Ellis of Crown, James (Tena) Ellis of Crown, and Joshua Ellis of Man. Three Sisters; Sarah Ellis, Billie Jean Ellis Branham, and Rachael Ellis. Her ex-husband Lonnie Lee (Lisa) Maynard, Brother in Law Lanny (Delsie) Maynard of Earling, and Two uncles Danny Ray (Linda) Adkins, Roosevelt Adkins, a special niece Carolyn (Vernon) Nichols of Lyburn, a special cousin Glenda Sue Bartram, with many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday May 3, 2022, at the Lyburn Freewill Baptist Church at Lyburn.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Lyburn Freewill Baptist Church at Lyburn with Rev. Jody Brown.
Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
