Myrtle Mae Meadows Brown
of Davin, WV
Myrtle Mae Meadows Brown, 96, of Davin, went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2015, at Trinity Healthcare at Williamson, after a short illness.
She was born April 5, 1919, at Island Creek, the daughter of the late Ella Meadows Dingess.
Myrtle was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brown; her children, Ruby Brown Corns and John Brown; and her grandparents who raised her, Green and Exer Meadows.
She was a home maker and a member of the Big Spring Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son-in-law, Joe Corns of Davin; her daughter-in-law, Norma Brown of Kistler; six grandchildren, Tammy Gibson of Man, Patty Cook of Oceana, Rob Lee Brown, Bryan Brown, and Christian Brown, all of FL; and Michael Brown of Germany; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her care givers, Marie Watson and Christy Adkins; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Rev. Robert Morris officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
