Lyndon Darrell Pierson
of Robinette, WV
Lyndon Darrell Pierson, 59, of Robinette, departed this life on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.
He was born on April 17, 1962, at Man, the son of the late Harvey Edgar and Edna Ruth (Osborne) Pierson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Darrell Pierson; brother, Paul Pierson; his maternal grandparents, Roy and Alta Osborne; and his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Mabel Pierson.
Lyndon was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was able to go. He had keen vision in the woods and could spot a deer a mile away. Lyndon was also good with his hands and was a construction worker for many years. During his career he built houses, decks, buildings, and could basically fix anything that was broken. He loved to “rib” people by aggravating them with the “W” Questions, who, what, where, when, and definitely why!
In his younger days, he loved coming in from NC and spending time with family, riding around in the mountains, listening to old country music, and just having a good time around his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Brian Pierson of NC; his sisters, Diana and James “Red” Morris of Robinette with whom he made his home while Diana took care of him and Drema and George Baldridge of Accoville; two brothers, Fred and Tammy Pierson of Scott Depot and Harvey and Alice Pierson of Accoville; a sister-in-law, Linda Pierson of Lundale; his wife, Sheri Pierson; two uncles, David Pierson and Charles Osborne; and an aunt, Shirley Georgas; special friends, Teresa and Garland Bass of NC; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank DaVita Dialysis at Logan for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
A graveside service will follow at Daniels Cemetery at Curtis with Rev. Danny Thomas officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, 115 Market St., Man, WV 25635 for help with funeral expenses.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pall bearers will be James “Red” Morris and George Baldridge.
