Beulah Mae Gibson
of Lorado, WV
Beulah Mae Gibson, 71, of Lorado, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 23, 2022, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
She was born on April 21, 1950, at Lorado, the daughter of the late Rev. William Dorsey and Margie Harvey Osborne.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Tedom Coburn, and a stillborn baby brother William Dorsey Osborne Jr.
She was a member of God’s Lighthouse Church where she continued to attend when she was able. Beulah never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to tell others about how good God was to her. She loved church and invited everyone she met to come to church.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Hannah Marie Goodwin and her husband James of Lorado; two grandsons, James Ratliff and William Goodwin; one sister, Belva “Squeaky” Lusk of Robinette; two nieces, April Albright of Lorado and Mable Lusk of Kistler; two nephews, Bobby Lusk of Accoville and Koby and his wife Diana Coburn, Jr. of Chapmanville; and two great-nieces, Ashley and her husband Randy Tony of Chapmanville, and Hope Maynard and her husband Allman Maynard, Jr. of Kistler and their children, Braylon, Kassidy, and McKenzie, all of Kistler; and many special friends along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday night at the God’s Lighthouse Church at Buffalo Creek where a service will begin at 7 p.m. Rev. Scotty Elswick officiating.
Funeral services will begin Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the God’s Lighthouse Church with Rev. Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery at Curtis.
