Obituary of Kara Lynn Mitchell

Kara Lynn “Kara Belle” Mitchell of Mallory, WV Kara Lynn “Kara Belle” Mitchell, 23, of Mallory, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was born on November 30, 1997, at Logan, the daughter of Orville Lee Mitchell of Greenvalley and Glenna Jean (Gibson) Mitchell of Oceana. Kara was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Betty Jean (Wooten) Gibson; her paternal grandparents, Steve Warren Cline and Diana Jean Dotson Mitchell Ellison; one uncle, Glen Michael Gibson. Kara Belle was full of life and full of adventure. She enjoyed fishing, drawing, reading, and spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ashton Mitchell; two sons, Roman Mitchell and Xavian Mitchell; her parents, Orville Lee Michell of Greenvalley and Glenna Jean (Gibson) Mitchell of Oceana; her maternal grandfather, Glen Gibson of Mallory; two brothers, Kenneth Mitchell and his companion Flora Ellis and Bradley Mitchell, both of Oceana; and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2021, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a Celebration of Life service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Lehman Eldridge and Rev. Andrew Eldridge officiating. In honor of Kara’s wishes her remains will be cremated after the services.
