Obituary of Lorine Copley

Lorine Copley Of Amherstdale, WV Lorine Copley, 80, of Amherstdale, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was born on April 17, 1941, in Logan County, the daughter of the late Raymond and Kathleen (Stapleton) Johnston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Andrew “Dutter” Jackson Copley; one son, Steven Wayne Copley; her daughter-in-law, Tammy Ferrell Copley; and two brothers, Truman Johnston and Glen Johnston. Lorine worked at C & D Carryout at Robinette for 27 years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening flowers, reading, and working puzzle books. Lorine was devoted to her family and was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church at Accoville. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Mark Copley of Amherstdale; three grandchildren, Ashley Copley of Huntington, Steven Whitt and Brayden Whitt, both of Amherstdale; one brother, Carl (Polly) Johnston of Vinton, OH; four Aunts; and one Uncle; Carol Hoosier the sister of her heart; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Arbie Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
