Obituary of Melissa Susan Doss

Melissa Susan Doss of Accoville, WV Melissa Susan Doss, 64, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, leaving from her earthly home, after an extended illness. She was born on June 11, 1956, at Man, the daughter of the late Norma Lee Smith Beavers and James Charles Beavers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Sally Bernice (Franklin) Doss and Eugene Thomas Doss. Susan was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandma, and a caring and loving big sister. She attended Man Church of God where she loved her church family so much. Susan was loved so very much by everyone. Those left to cherish the memory of Susan are the love of her life, her loving husband of 43 years, James Edward Doss of Accoville; one son, Joshua Benjamin Doss and his wife Yolanda of Sterling, VA; one grandson, Alexander Doss of Sterling, VA; one sister, Paula Ann Blevins and her husband Troy of Accoville; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patricia Powers and her husband Fred, Eugene Thomas Doss, and JoAnne Criswell, all of TN, Ronnie Doss and his wife Kathy of Crown, Johnny Doss and his wife Paula of Robinette; and a host of nieces and nephews. In honor of Susan’s wishes her remains have been cremated.
