Albert Herman Gross
of Hewett, WV
Albert Herman Gross, 55, of Hewett, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, departing from Logan Regional Medical Center, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on January 13, 1966, at Logan, the son of the late Herman Albert and Irene Joyce (Brown) Gross.
Albert loved to spend time with his family especially his 11 grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and traveling with his wife to different destinations in his van. Devoted to his family, Albert was always there to lend a helping hand. He possessed a really good sense of humor and joked around with everyone he met. Albert loved to cook and enjoyed sending pictures of the wonderful meals he cooked to his family just to make them hungry. He loved tinkering around in his garage working on his Camaro. Albert was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, his wife of 32 years, Cheryl Ann Gross; three daughters, Jessica Marie Sanders and her husband J.R. of Whitman, Tiffany McCoy and her husband Anthony of Holden, and Beth Workman and her husband Greg of Whitman; 11 grandchildren, Carly Ward, Billy Abraham, Savannah Abraham, Levi Abraham, Ryder Sanders, Kaci Lee, Amara McCoy, Brayden McCoy, Riley McCoy, Roxanna Workman, and Isabella Workman; three sisters, June O’Dell, Diana Patterson and her husband Gene, and Gloria Maynard and her husband H.L.; brother, Paul Gross; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
