Of Man, WV
Renee Shumacher, 58, of Man, departed this life on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at her residence, after an extended illness.
She was born on November 26, 1962, at Ravenna, OH, the daughter of the late Mack Green Johnson and Linda Carol “Perkie” Perkins Johnson.
Renee enjoyed crocheting, and listening to Elvis Presley and Buck Owens. Renee was a wonderful wife, sister and aunt who loved her family dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe Shumacher; one brother, Mackie and Kenna Johnson of Man; one sister-in-law Dorothy Ann Merritt; one nephew, David and Morgan Johnson of Bruno; one niece, Mackenzie Johnson of Man; a great-nephew, Holden Johnson; and a great niece, Hadley Johnson, both of Bruno; cousins Jennifer and Cindy, whom she talked to almost daily, and special friends, Pam and Danny Robinson of Man, Ike and Heather Johnson of Kistler, the Bragg family of Accoville, Alice Blair and Lora Murphy, both of Man; Mike and Pam Owens of Crown; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may gather from 6-8 pm Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a Memorial Service will begin at 7 p.m.
In honor of Renee’s wishes her remains have been cremated.
