Lisa Gaye (McComas) Ellis, 61, of Accoville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, leaving suddenly from her earthly home on November 29, 2020.
She was born on May 4, 1959, at Huntington, the daughter of the late Ernest “Buster” and Ella (Hall) McComas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William “Charlie” Ellis, Jr.; one sister, Brenda Banks; two brothers, Gary Yates and Roger McComas; her aunt, Mary Evelyn Perry; a nephew, Michael Banks; and a niece, Tammy Banks.
Lisa was a 1977 graduate of Man High School. She was an excellent home maker who took great pride in her home. Lisa was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. Lisa was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren Asher and Maycee. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. In her later years, Lisa attended the Man Church of the Nazarene. Lisa was a kind, big hearted person whose sweet smile will always be remembered by all who loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Matthew Brent Ellis and his wife Amber of Logan and Patrick Marc Ellis and his wife Tristan of Dandridge, TN; two precious grandchildren, Asher Ellis and Maycee Ellis, both of Logan; one sister, Betty Atkins of AL; nieces and nephews, Pam Blevins and her husband Jimmy Earl of Sanford, NC, Kevin Banks and his wife Marcie of Mt. Dora, FL, Donna Green, Teresa Atkins, Scottie Atkins, and Debbie Jobe, all of AL, Ryan McComas and his wife Jamie of Kenova, Crystal McComas and Jericho Eversole of IN; and three sisters-in-law, Sandy McComas of Harold, KY, Sherry Britt of Sprattsville, and Wanda McComas of Pikeville, KY; her brother-in-law, David Ellis of Gilbert; and many great-nieces and great-nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Man Church of the Nazarene at Man with Rev. Ollie Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church also.
Pall bearers will be her nephews.
