Clara Woods
Of Davin, WV
Our beloved Clara, the wife of the late Claude E. Woods of Davin, entered into eternal rest and peace on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
She was born on February 26, 1923, in Harlan, KY, the daughter of the late Jasper A. Hendricks and the late Sarah Whitt Hendricks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Woods; two daughters, Claudette Morgan Sparks and Cledia Greene; and two sons, Daniel “Danny” Woods and Clyde E. Woods.
Clara was a member of the Mallory Church of God and a charter member of the Man Church of God.
Those left to cherish her memory are three children, Roger L. Woods and Paul R. Woods, both of NC, and Patricia Johnson of Huntington; and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Clara’s life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Bishop Shaun Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
Pallbearers will be friends.
