Carolyn Sue Harvey
Of Accoville, WV
Carolyn Sue Harvey, 73, of Accoville, went to her Heavenly home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2020, leaving from her home, after a long illness.
She was born June 2, 1947, at Accoville, the daughter of the late Roscoe and Clustina Adams Ackison.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest grandson, Brian Allen Harvey; and her brother, Rocky Adams.
Carolyn was a home maker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Carolyn loved working in her flower beds, growing a garden, canning, painting, and going on trips in the woods to both ride and hunt. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are the love of her life and her husband of 57 years, Larry Dean Harvey; two children, Brian Lee Harvey and his wife Robin of Bruno and Kathryn Merritt and her husband Robert of Accoville; a very special granddaughter, Tiara Thompson and her husband Kevin of Neibert; four grandsons, Zac Harvey and his wife Kendyl of Bruno, Brody Harvey and his fiancé Megan McDaniels of Bruno, R.J. Merritt and Jacob Merritt, both of Accoville; three great-grandsons, Kolton Lee Thompson of Neibert, and Asher Blake Harvey and Landon Reid Harvey both of Bruno; one sister, Barbara Jean Roberts and her husband J.D. of Accoville; several nieces and nephews along with a host of other friends and family.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Don Don Block, and Tim Franklin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Imes, Neil Williamson, Rocky Conley, Frank “Hot Rod” McCormick, Leroy Terry, Donald “Bucky” Maynard, Matt Carter, Jim “Bull” Conley, and Britt Gibson.
