Rev. Robbie Everett Campbell
Of Nitro, WV
Rev. Robbie Everett Campbell, 65, of Nitro, formerly of Man, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2020, after a long illness.
He was born on January 30, 1955, at Man, the son of the late Rev. Clarence Robert and Barbara Ann (Jeffries) Campbell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rev. Earl David Campbell.
Robbie was a 1973 graduate of Man High School. He was a chief electrician formerly employed with Arch of WV for 25 years until he became disabled. Rev. Robbie was a minister for many years and had a prison ministry at St. Marys Correctional Center. When he was younger he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making his grandson Coty happy. More recently he loved reading his Bible and studying for the Bible class that he taught.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 45 years, Brenda Gaye (Osborne) Campbell; his daughter, Robin Campbell and her fiancé Kenny Blankenship of St. Albans; his grandson who was his pride and joy, Coty Campbell of St. Albans; his siblings, Rev. Roger Dale (Kathy) Campbell of TN, Debbie (Clarence) Freeman of Accoville, Kathy (Dale) Morgan of KY, Andrew Campbell of MN, Kim (David) Boone of VA, and Mary (Jeff) Lester of Winfield; his sister-in-law, Betty Campbell of Accoville; his care taker, Brent Radabaugh; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
In honor of Rev. Robbie’s request private services will be held with Rev. Joe Lane officiating and following services his remains will be cremated.
