James Walter “Baby James” Hill, V
Of
James Walter “Baby James” Hill, born on February 21, 2000, the son of James Walter IV and Shelby Jean Rogers Hill of Kistler, returned to Heaven in the arms of an angel on Friday, September 6, 2019. He left his earthly home at Kistler peacefully cuddled in the loving arms of his mother and father.
Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Donna and Robert “BoBo”
“Baby James” was dedicated to the Lord on August 26, 2012 and was a faithful member of the Man Church of God where he was loved by everyone and considered the “church baby”. Although his life in this world was short he was loved and showered with hugs and kisses by his family and his church family. “Baby James” loved gospel music and especially loved to hear Herbie Pruitt sing. He would often raise his hand in praise of the Lord when he heard Herbie sing. James was a 2018 graduate of
Those left on earth with empty arms and sad hearts are his parents, James IV and Shelby Jean Rogers Hill; two brothers, Garrett Hill and Dennis Browning, both of Kistler; one sister, Lilly Rogers of Accoville; paternal grandparents, James III and Karen Hill of Kistler; his great-grandmother, Joyce “Jo” Hatfield of Neibert; and his aunts and uncles, Maggie Evans and Robert Rogers; along with a host of family, church family and friends.
A celebration of Jame’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Man Church of God at Man with Rev. Donald Lafferty and Brother Terry “Bubby” Adkins officiating.
Rev. Herbie Pruitt and Dr. Aimee Barton will be singing at the service.
Visitation will be held from 12 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the church also.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
After services his remains will be cremated.
