Of
Warner Ray Osborne, 76, of Accoville, went to be with our Heavenly Father and into the open and loving arms of his wife of 47 years, Quindora Marie Linville Osborne on June 12, 2019 at
He was born to the late Elmer and Ruth Osborne on January 2, 1943 at Curtis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Quindora Marie Linville Osborne; daughter, Darlene Sue Osborne Davis; and an infant brother, Alton Jay Osborne.
Warner was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He was a retired coal miner of 30+ years. Warner retired as a section boss and worked at many of the local mines such as Amherst Coal Co., Pittston Coal, and many more. He spent many hours talking about his years working in the mines and spoke highly of all the men that worked with him.
He loved the outdoors. Warner loved to trout fish and was always out to hunt “the big deer.”
Warner was also proud of the time spent serving this country in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne stationed in Normandy Germany where he attained the rank of sp/4 E-4 (T).
He was a man that had the biggest heart and wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone. Warner was a man that you could lean on in any time of need. He was loved and cherished by all his family and friends.
Those left to cherish and keep his memory going are daughters, Melissa “Lisa” Osborne Gentry of Gilbert and Kristy (Rick) Bragg of Robinette; his grandchildren, James Michael Deel, Matthew Tyler Warner Osborne, Ricky “Boo” Bragg II and Kyleigh Shaelyn Bragg, and Hope (Kirby) Turner of Wendell, NC; his wonderful brothers, Roger Osborne of Oceana and Otis Osborne of Lorado; and four great-grandchildren, Blake, Bryce, and Banks Turner, and McKenzie Erin Deel; very special friends, Mary and Timbo Tackett.
