Mary Ann Harrison
of Bristol, VA
Mary Ann Harrison, 58, of Bristol, VA, formerly of Mallory, WV, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 4, 2016, leaving from National Health Care at Bristol, after a courageous battle with liver cancer.
She was born May 13, 1957, at Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Jim Rowe and Elizabeth Marie Grant Rowe Hall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Harrison Hall; and three brothers, Charles Grant, Elmer Hatfield, and Doug Hall.
Mary was a disabled licensed practical nurse formerly employed with Logan Park Care and Logan Center. She was a Christian who attended the Accoville United Methodist Church where she served as the custodian for 11 years before moving to Virginia. She enjoyed reading, working cross word puzzles, watching television, and singing.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Gary Harrison; three sons, Jose Rangel of Johnson City, TN, Antonio Miguel Rangel of NC, and Sgt. Charles Matthew Rangel presently serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan; six sisters, Kay Engelhardt of Woodstock, IL, Patricia Louise Rowe of Bluff City, TN, Ernestine Steele of Hanover, WV, Juanita Lawrence of North Springs, WV, Ida Marie Wingler of Bristol, TN, and Michelle Hall of Bristol, VA; three brothers, James Richard Rowe of Bluff City, TN, Billy Joe Hall of North Springs, WV, and Harrison Hall, Jr. of Jackson, TN; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jaleah, Jackson, Gabriel, Isaiah, Vincent, Sapphire "Sassy", Emerald, Shyla, Xavier, Austin, and Chase; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Norman Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services also.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
