Obituary of Priscilla Lou Wilburn

Priscilla Lou Wilburn Accoville, WV Priscilla Lou Wilburn, 75, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2015, leaving from her home, after an extended illness. She was born October 19, 1939, at Accoville, a daughter of the late Dennie and Mable Stapleton Dempsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Wilburn; and one brother, Lewis Dempsey. Priscilla was a home maker who enjoyed making her house a home and taking care of all of the children in the family. When she found time, Priscilla liked to read and watch movies. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Gene Wilburn; one sister, Patricia Mitchem of Charleston; two granddaughters, Bryna (David) Jewell of Williamson and Whitney (Phillip) Cordell of Charleston, SC; three great-grandchildren, Chloe Cordell, Brandon Cordell, and Derek Jewell; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Jimmy Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services also.
